The Tunes Get Dark Again

A few months ago, I mentioned needing less somber playlists because Nashlin's story starts on a much lighter note.

Well, that changes today. :)

To be honest, it changed about midway through her last chapter, but this one starts with fear and doesn't let up for a while.

Now, where are those horror film scores...

I need something, because right now I'm having trouble getting into her mindset. How does a 36 year old man get into the head of a 13 year old girl huddling in the corner, waiting for monsters to burst through the door?

If I can get there, this should be a very productive day.

ETA: Arrgghh... Still not there 45 minutes later. When my office gets finished in a few weeks, I'll be able to light up my pipe. Nothing like tapping your teeth with a pipe stem and blowing smokes rings to get the imagination going. Today, I'll turn to my old friend of late night writing sessions: Red Bull

Echoes of Truth is revised and polished. I'm ready to start querying agents, the next step in seeing this novel published. In the meantime, work on the Condotierre is underway. I'm as excited to start this new book as I am to have finished my last.
